Day of prayer in St. Leodegar’s and St. Stephen’s – Saturday 23rd November

We will be holding another Day of Prayer – the morning in St Leodegar’s and the afternoon in St Stephen’s. We will be praying for the needs of our two churches during this period of inter-regnum, and for our future minister, whoever that might be.

Nearer the time there will be sign-up sheets in each church to ensure that there is continuous prayer throughout the day. However, people are also welcome to just show up and pray for a while. We will be repeating the format of the Day of Prayer we held in July – that is, there will be various stations set up to aid us in our prayers, for example prayer cards, candles, music, prayerful colouring, art materials.

It’s vital that everything we do as a benefice is covered by prayer, and in the inter-regnum it is even more important that we seek the Lord’s will for our churches and also seek His strength and support. Please join us even if you can only manage a short time. Prayer is powerful!
