Child Protection

Protecting Children in our Community

We all know that running a family, being a busy parent and taking on the daily task of keeping everything afloat can sometimes be hard, maybe even an everyday struggle. We all find it tough and anyone that says otherwise is probably in denial. The truth of the matter though, is that you are not alone, even if it feels like you are. We have God in our hearts and pray that he can guide us through troubled times. Talking to family and friends can be the most important thing you do but there are other sources.

I am the Safeguarding Officer for the Church Parishes of Mundham and Hunston and recently attended an enlightening course on the Safeguarding and Protection of our children. It’s a difficult subject but unfortunately a necessary one that we all must face up to.

I would urge you all to have a look at the sites below, not only for information but also to offer support. They cover a range of topics from identifying abuse around us to safeguarding children whilst on the Internet.

If you need any help or are concerned about any child or family in particular please call or email me. If we all act together then we can put a stop to abuse.
